More About Jenna Fondren:

Jenna Fondren joined Crime Stoppers of Houston in June 2017 as Community Education Specialist and is now the Safe School Institute Manager. She oversees the Safe School Institute’s day to day operations, ensuring that students and school staff receive the most current and impactful crime prevention presentations and tips. She establishes and maintains relationships with school safety personnel across Houston and across the state of Texas. Works with community partners to expand the need for safe schools, updates and writes curriculum, as well as records statistics and program results.

Jenna plays an active role in the safety for school communities through her work in different prevention spaces. She works closely with the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children, David’s Legacy Foundation, The Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan, the Texas Education Agency, the Houston Rescue and Restore Coalition, and the Children’s Assessment Center. She believes that through collaboration and partnerships, the Safe School Institute will serve more children with the tools necessary to never become a victim of crime.

Jenna is a native Houstonian. She attended The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor’s in Sociology and minored in Business. Outside of Crime Stoppers, she holds a position on the Champions for Children Board: A group dedicated to the mission of Texas Children’s Cancer Center and the fight against pediatric cancer.
